Need your HCR ID?

Returning Members use your RIS account. You will find it in "Profile>Child Management"

HCR (Hockey Canada Registry) ID number is created by completing the Respect in Sport - Parent online course.  Once you complete the course, please log in to your RIS-Parent account and the HCR ID is under the Profile tab under the Child Management section.

For returning members with a new player to the family, please add your new player to the Profile tab under the Child Management section.

 

Please note that our evaluation software (OneClick) might not support the below email address:

If you have another email address you can use in the parent contact section on the registration form we encourage you to use it or create a Gmail account.  The evaluation administrators communicate with the parents through OneClick to notify you what group, time and date your player is being evaluated so it’s important that you receive their emails.

Returning players who have a current RIS Parent Certification, and approved Pre-Registered and Transferred players.

Respect in Sport Parent Course

This 1 hour online program is designed to reinforce a parents role in a child’s activities. It encourages positive sport behaviours and empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children. It encourages positive and effective communication, and helps to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.

Financial Assistance

There are programs available to assist families with the financial cost of registration. You must apply and qualify for these programs.  Once you are approved for financial assistance, Bow Valley will refund the amount you qualified for. All financial assistance applications are completed online

Society Level Volunteering Opportunities - Community League

Please click on the sign-up to volunteer button for upcoming volunteer jobs through Volunteer Local. Jobs are always being added so please check back if there are none at the present moment. The bulk of jobs happen during evaluations.

Anyone not fulfilling his or her obligations will have their $500.00 Volunteer Bond per child cashed by Bow Valley.  This is mandatory to remain a BVHS member in good standing. Your cooperation in this process is appreciated.

There will be an official tracking process for all volunteer activities and all hours will be logged and counted towards the individual’s total.

Society Level Volunteer Bond Payout - Community League

Single-player families are required to complete a MINIMUM of 12 hours of SOCIETY LEVEL volunteering for Bow Valley. Multi-player families must complete a MINIMUM of 16 hours of SOCIETY LEVEL volunteering. If you wish to buy out your bond instead of volunteering, please click on the Volunteer Bond Payout button. Please do not buy your bond out if you plan to complete your volunteer hours.

New Members Pre-Registration

Before you complete this form please be sure that you have completed the Respect In Sport Parent, (need certificate number), Proof Of Age and Proof of Residency Scanned in PDF's Ready to upload.

Once you have completed this form in full, and all the proper documentation has been uploaded in PDF format you will receive instructions with a link to register within 72hrs.

Submissions will be dealt with in the order they were received. If a submission isn't completed properly you will receive an email notifying you of the issues, and you will be required to resubmit the info through the online form.

New Member in Family

This form is for a new family member playing hockey. For example if you have a sibling already playing BVHS and you as a parent have already completed the Respect in Sport Seminar.

Transfer From Another Association

Please note that Hockey Calgary will not transfer players until June 1st.
